Information on the May 31 Curly Leaf Pondweed Treatment
On May 31, 2007 the areas identified in red on the maps below will be spot treated for Curly Leaf Pondweed. Our applicator, Aquatic Nuisance Control will be applying contact herbicide only in these locations. The endotholl based contact herbicide breaks down quickly and therefore carries a 24 hour no swimming, 3 day no fish consumption, and 14 day irrigation/livestock watering restrictions. If you have any questions about this or any other algaecide or herbicide treament, please click on the link below to email us your question. Please note that there is an isolated patch north of the east bridge into East Lake. This patch is growing on the side of the surfaced peat bog that a pair of Common Loons are using to nest. Therefore this patch though mapped, will not be treated.
