2012 Contact Herbicide Nuisance Aquatic Plant Treatments- Comments

Lake Laura, Fawn Lake, Lake of the Clouds and Sunset Lake are scheduled to be treated Tuesday June 19th. The Main Lakes will be treated the following day, Wednesday June 20th. Treatments will also be conducted on Kitt and Rush lakes but the date is yet to be determined. These treatments are to control native aquatic vegetation that is creating recreational nuisances. The treatments will carry a 2 day no swimming and 3 day no fish consumption restriction. Treated vegetation should begin to fall out of the water column in as little as 7 days and as long as 2 weeks following treatment. Please don't hesitate to call or email with questions or comments.
